MAZI CHUKWUNYERE GIBSON IHE, (TFG, JP)
MAZI Chukwunyere Gibson Ihe (TFG,JP) rose through the wrung of Barclays Bank D.C.O., and Barclays Bank Plc. United Kingdom/Nigeria to an enviable top Senior General Management level of Union Bank of Nigeria Plc, a successor of Barclays Bank DCO.
He attended several Overseas In-service Program among which are, Senior Management Development: Spectrum Marketing: Manchester University Business School: Cranfield University School of Management. Mazi Ihe retired in July, 1991. He was instrumental to siting the Arochukwu Branch of Union Bank of Nigeria Plc, when it was the only Bank that served Arochukwu and Ohafia Local Government Areas.
Most Arochukwu Sons and Daughters in Union Bank today and those that left the service for one reason or the other passed through Mazi Ihe’s influence. He believed so much in the progress and development of Amuvi, Arochukwu and Nigeria in general. He resigned as a Director on the Board of Arochukwu Community Bank Limited in 1993.
Mazi Ihe was at a time the Vice President General of Amuvi Welfare Union (AWU) and later President General on the death of Mazi Emmanuel C. Okereke (PG) from 1986 – 1987. He is a Member of select prestigious Clubs in Nigeria I.e. Arochukwu Social Club, Ikoyi Club 1938, Ikoyi Golf Club, Island Club and Rotary Club.
He is widely travelled and presently resides as a Citizen in the United States of America. An Elder of the Methodist Faith. Honoured by the Methodist Church with The Faithful of God (TFG) title.
Presently, he is the Chairman/CEO – Gymcoe Group of Companies. Mazi Ihe was married to Late Nneoma, Lady Gladys Nnennaya Ihe, née Oji a pillar of strength, with Children
